The struggle to write about something serious

This is a short one, but a question:

How do you write about a serious topic in a tasteful manner?

Context being is that tonight's post originally was going to be about how reviews and overviews of stories that contain strong material are now saturated with "safe language" that desaturates the awareness the story brings on topics such as depression, sexual advantages, and death in general.

By all means, it is a hard thing to write about because as anyone would, I would love to write with proper maturity, language, and genuineness to bring awareness to help people who are victims of these occurrences. These stories can be based off real accounts, and it is important that it is brought into light.

And within the light, those who act like Christ can help those still stuck in those dark shadows.
