CWA 5: Folded Laundry

The task is so simple

Gather all the dirty clothes

Put everything in the large hamper

Go down the stairs to the laundry room

Put everything in the washing machine

Set a timer and wait around for an hour

Hear the ding and switch it to the dryer

Place everything in the drying machine

Set a timer and wait around for an hour

Put the second load in the washing machine

Set a timer and wait around for an hour

Hear the ding and switch it to the dryer

Put the first load of clothes into the bag

Put the second load in the dryer

But why can't I just finish it in one go?

Wait for another hour after clearing the lint

Why would I rather forget till I have no clothes?

How can I mess something so simple and complex?

Feel the clothes when the cycle is finished

Of course, it's still damp

When will I perfect it?

The clothes are finally done after recycle

Dry now, bring it to the room and fold

Organized by color and type

Have it down in a few

That wasn't so bad.

A simple moment

Now wasn't it?
